What Are The Sustainable Development Goals?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all 193 member States of the United Nations in September 2015. They are a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

These goals are comprehensive and aim to address many aspects of key interest to all with a focus on people’s and the planet’s well-being, prosperity and peace for all, poverty and partnership to consolidate efforts in achieving them. The more our communities and citizens get to know these goals, the more likely we take actions to achieve them.
